Gov. Scott Walker will make his first public remarks Thursday afternoon since his election defeat. The governor’s office tells WTMJ’s John Mercure that Walker will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. Walker will join Wisconsin’s Afternoon News at 3:30p Thursday.
The news conference comes after Walker met privately with Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Assembly Majority Leader Jim Steineke Thursday morning, according to the Associated Press.
Vos had been open to the idea of limiting the power of governor before Democrat Tony Evers takes office.
