A Marathon County Board member is spreading addiction awareness after years of remaining sober. It took Ashley Lange of Wausau, WI to be admitted to the hospital for the third time because of alcohol poisoning for her to seek help for her addition.
Now five years later Lange is a proud mother, has a full-time job and elected onto the board of representatives in her district where she lives according to the Wausau Herald.
Ashley continues to spread awareness saying we need to come together to help addicts “whether it’s with resources or just listening”
