Two of the world’s top 26 paid athletes play for Wisconsin teams, with another on the top list being a former Badger.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the 7th best-paid athlete of 2019, according to Forbes Magazine.
His 2019 pay reaches $89.3 million, including $80.3 million in salary (due to his signing bonus for the latest contract he signed) and $9 million in endorsements.
Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks rankes No. 26 at $43.2 million.
He gets $24.2 million in salary and $19 million in endorsements, more than double the total of Rodgers in the endorsement category.
Only former University of Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson, who was just inked to a new deal, tops Rodgers at No. 6 ($89.5 million).
Seven NBA players make more than Antetokounmpo, with LeBron James topping the list at No. 8 ($89 million).
