Baseball is typically a marathon, not a sprint.
However, a 60-game season has changed that mindset a bit.
“You look at the standings every three days and they change completely,” Brewers Manager Craig Counsell tells WTMJ. “You just gotta keep that mentality even after a tough loss or a tough weekend.”
The Brewers are currently 18-21 with 18 games left to play.
“We gotta play better and we gotta win games, but we got a shot. I think that’s how we’re treating it the last three weeks.”
