Original story
A report says that the commissioner of Major League Baseball has asked its teams to stop much of its baseball operations for the time being – a time being that could be a long time depending on the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY said this on Twitter about actions commissioner Rob Manfred is taking.

July would mean about half of the regular season potentially being canceled. The All-Star Break happens in mid-July as well.
