The Milwaukee Brewers’ main relief pitcher, the man chosen as the best in baseball at that position in 2019, will be making $4.1 million next year for Milwaukee – but more than $2 million less than he had requested for his salary.
Merk Feinsand of MLB.com reported this about Josh Hader on Friday:
Josh Hader has lost his arbitration case against the Brewers, per source. Hader will earn $4.1 million in 2020; he had filed for $6.4 million.

Hader was named first-team All-MLB as a relief pitcher in 2019, and was an All-Star in both 2018 and 2019.
He went 3-5 with 37 saves and a 2.62 ERA in 61 appearances in 2019.
