A seven year Major League veteran infielder, one who played the Brewers in the NL Central for four years, is joining Milwaukee.
Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports that former San Diego Padre, St. Louis Cardinal and L.A. Dodger Jedd Gyorko has agreed to a deal with the Milwaukee Brewers, pending a physical.
Gyorko has a career .245 batting average with a .730 OPS, 112 home runs and 353 RBI in 804 total games.
In 2019, he split his time between the Cardinals and Dodgers, hitting just .174 with a .498 OPS, two home runs and nine RBI in 62 games and 101 plate appearances.
Gyorko endured numerous injuries in 2019 – back, hamstring and hand.
