A multi-position player with home run power is reportedly joining the Milwaukee Brewers roster.
Reporter Robert Murray, currently independent but formerly with The Athletic, says the team has made an agreement with free agent Logan Morrison.
In 2019, Morrison only played 29 games for Philadelphia with 38 plate appearances and hit .200 with a .663 OPS, two home runs and three RBI after being a free agent for about the first half of that campaign.
The man nicknamed “LoMo” is a 32-year-old 10-year MLB veteran.
His best season came in 2017 with Tampa Bay, where he hit 38 home runs and 85 RBI with a .246 batting average and an .868 OPS.
Morrison also has tenure with the Miami Marlins, Seattle Mariners and Minnesota Twins.
