He loved baseball. He loved our country. And he was beloved by the women & men who got to know him in the Milwaukee Brewers press box.
Lou Montgomery, 97, passed away after serving at Miller Park and County Stadium for decades.
WTMJ's Doug Russell shares his experience.
Heartbroken to learn of the passing of our beloved Miller Park press box usher Lou Montgomery this morning. Lou was 97, married to Marian for 72 (!!) years, a Brewers usher for over 30. He loved all sports, but especially baseball. WW2 & Korea veteran. Prayers to his family. pic.twitter.com/e2disgkFwI

“I really don't consider it work,” said Lou in an interview with TODAY'S TMJ4. “It's a fun job, I have one of the best jobs in the ballpark. I know that.”
He did that job for 33 years. After doing the job of serving America in World War II and Korea.
