Milwaukee Police are investigating five shootings Saturday and Sunday that left seven people with non-fatal injuries.
The first shooting happened Saturday at 2:30 p.m. near 33rd St. and Auer Ave. where a 23-year-old man was shot multiple times.
Investigators say he’s expected to survive, but they are still looking for a known suspect.
Just minutes later, officers were called to the area of 76th St. and Silver Spring Dr. for a double shooting that injured a 26-year-old man and a 60-year-old man. Both are being treated at a hospital.
Officers were then called for another double shooting around 7 p.m. near 57th St. and Fairmount Ave.
Police say a 19-year-old man and 19-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and are expected to survive.
A 26-year-old man was injured in a shooting Sunday morning around 3 a.m. near 76th St. and Marion St.
MPD is also investigating a shooting that happened Sunday morning around 3:30 a.m. near 105th St. and Bender Rd.
Investigators say a 16-year-old girl was shot when a gun fight broke out outside of a party.
