31-year-old Justin Sterna from Mequon grew up being a Packers fan, attending at least one game a year with his dad.
He was lucky enough that his family was season ticket holders, which made attending home games a bit easier than most.
“As I grew older and grew out of my adolescent years into adulthood, I was like yeah, let’s go to a couple more games,” said Sterna. “I’m just a huge sports fanatic in general. I go to a lot of events.”
But he says the journey he’s on now was a slow progression.
“I thought, maybe one of these years I’ll attempt to go to all the home games. I came close a couple of times,” Sterna said.
Things began to work out starting December 11, 2016. It was a Packers-Seahawks game from Lambeau and from that game on, he’s been on a roll.
If the stars align for Sunday’s Packers-49ers game from California, it will be Sterna’s 57th consecutive Packers game in a row, including all home and away games.
