The Green Bay Packers (11-3) are 3.5 points favorites against the Tennessee Titans (10-4) Sunday night at Lambeau Field. The game will feature two of the top three scoring offenses in the NFL. Accordingly, the over/under for Sunday’s game is a whopping 55.5.
The Titans offense is led by the NFL’s leading rusher, Derrick Henry. With two games to play, Henry is on pace for a 2,000 yard rushing season.
The Packers offense is led by Aaron Rodgers, the NFL’s leader in touchdown passes (40) and quarterback rating (118).
When it comes to defense, the Packers rank 14th in points allowed while the Titans rank 21st.
Will either team be able to stop the other Sunday night?
“Not if each offense is on it’s game,” Voice of the Packers Wayne Larrivee tells Wisconsin’s Afternoon News. “Where is the defense? Where is it really? The competition hasn’t been great.”
In the past three weeks, against the sub-500 Eagles, Lions and Panthers, the Packers have allowed 18.6 points per game on average. The Titans are an entirely different animal. Key to the success of Henry is quarterback Ryan Tannehill who has resurrected his career after leaving the Miami Dolphins.
“That’s been a remarkable story since they made a trade last year to bring him in, and he just took off,” Larrivee continues. “That’s why they are the number-1 offense. They can hurt you so bad on the ground, and they can hurt you through the air.”
Tannehill has 31 touchdown passes and ranks 4th in the NFL in quarterback rating (110.4).
