The Packers’ Pro Bowl tackle will be sticking around.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Packers reached a deal with David Bakhtiari to extend his contract by four years for $105.5 million. This would make Bakhtiari the highest paid offensive lineman in NFL history.
Bakhtiari got a $30M signing bonus, the largest ever for an offensive lineman and he has another $30M+ available in March roster bonuses within the next 28 months. Just a massive deal. The practical guarantee is least $62.8 million before the end of the 2022 season. https://t.co/n0w3grP4ze

Bakhtiari has been with the Packers since he was drafted by them in the 4th round of the 2013 draft. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2016 and 2019. He has also been a first team All Pro in 2018, and a second team member in 2016, 2017, and 2019.
Bakhtiari commented on the new deal following the Packers 24 to 20 win over the Jaguars Sunday. WATCH BELOW:
