Hey! We made it through a week without a Head Coach being fired! Let’s not waste any time in revealing this week’s Power-10, Powerless-5.
POWER-10
- KC Chiefs
- An MVP QB who doesn’t have to play like an MVP for his team to win. That is a luxury. The Chiefs have held five of six opponents to 20 points or less.
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- The Steelers have the Titans (5-0) and Ravens (5-1) in back-to-back weeks. We’ll learn more, but I like what I see.
- Baltimore Ravens
- The Ravens can win in a variety of ways, but the defense looked pretty sloppy in a narrow win over the Eagles on Sunday.
- Seattle Seahawks
- Toughest game of the season is coming up on Sunday against the 4-2 Cardinals.
- Tennessee Titans
- Blind QB Resume time!
- QB1: 69.9 completion %, 1368 yards passing,13 TDs, 2 INTs, 113.5 QB rating.
- QB2: 65.5 completion %, 1374 yards passing, 13 TDs, 2 INTs, 109.7 QB rating.
- QB1 = Ryan Tannehill. QB2 = Aaron Rodgers.
- Blind QB Resume time!
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Been saying it all year: That defense is elite!
- Green Bay Packers
- The Packers are now 2-8 all-time at Raymond James Stadium.
- Buffalo Bills
- Something doesn’t seem quite right with the Bills running game. The Chiefs controlled Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs with a two-high safety look, and they still couldn’t run the ball.
- Los Angeles Rams
- The Rams are here for now…but don’t be surprised if the Cardinals replace them.
- New Orleans Saints
- Michael Thomas should be back after missing 4 games. Tre’Quan Smith is much better as a number-3 than he is a number-1a or 2.
Knocking on the door: Raiders, Bears, Colts, Browns, Cardinals
POWERLESS 5
- (28) Minnesota Vikings
- A year ago, the Vikings were sniffing the power-10.
- (29) Washington Football Team
- Pass rush has been non-existent since an 8-sack performance in week-1.
- (30) Jacksonville Jaguars
- They have some weapons on offense, but Gardner Minshew is proving he is not the long-term answer at QB.
- (31) New York Giants
- 1-5 and still in the hunt in the NFC East. I know they beat Washington, but I’m not convinced they are a better team.
- (32) New York Jets
- Clemson and Alabama…then the Jets.
