A first at Lambeau Field this weekend.
A Packers football game with no fans in the stands.
“It was very strange,” Voice of the Packers Wayne Larrivee tells WTMJ. “And kind of sad. We certainly missed the fans. They’re a big part of the experience.”
Larrivee adds that once the game started he was able to get in his groove, but the emptiness was certainly felt prior to the game.
“Walking into the stadium, looking around the stadium, driving to the stadium through the neighborhoods that normally have cars in the yards. There was nobody around.”
