It was a big week one victory for the Packers, beating the Vikings 43-34.
But that doesn’t mean that Matt LaFleur and his team are coasting into the weekend, as they welcome the Detroit Lions to Lambeau Field.
“We know we’re gonna have our hands full,” says the head coach. “We’re gonna have a team that was handling the Bears pretty easily for three quarters.”
“It’s super competitive on a weekly basis in this league, so you better be ready to go each and every week.”
After just one week of play, the Green Bay offense ranks 1st in yards, 1st in scoring, 4th in rushing, and 2nd in passing.
“We always talk about consistency being the greatest measurement of performance,” says LaFleur. “Anybody can do something one week. You gotta stack it back to back to back.”
