The quarterback of the Green Bay Packers has shared his feelings about racial issues, making statements during the National Anthem and more in his latest Instagram post.
Aaron Rodgers posted a picture of himself locking arms with African American teammates in 2017, after President Donald Trump criticized NFL players including Colin Kaepernick, who knelt during the National Anthem to protest police brutality against minorities.
Rodgers also offered a message about why he and his teammates took that step, and about the current protests following the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis Police on Memorial Day.
Earlier on Wednesday, fellow future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints said during an interview with Yahoo Finance about how he would never agree with anyone who, in his words, would disrespect the flag.
