After selecting the possible quarterback and running back of the future of the Green Bay Packers, GM Brian Gutekunst has gone receiver to potentially help current quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers chose tight end Josiah Deguara out of Cincinnati. The 242-pound tight end had 92 receptions in 2019.
Percieved as a “day 3 prospect” by NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein, he is perceived as a strong run blocker.
“As a pass catcher, Deguara is sure-handed with good feel for soft spots against zone, but may need an accurate thrower due to contested catch likelihood and suspect catch radius.”
