At the age of 36, quarterback Aaron Rodgers knows he may not have many more chances to play in an NFC Championship game.
“I know for a fact that he relishes this opportunity to play in this game and to get a chance to go back to the Super Bowl,” Voice of the Packers Wayne Larrivee tells WTMJ.
But Larrivee says don’t think that means he’ll be overwhelmed by the pressure.
“I think he relishes the pressure. That’s what he’s all about; games like this and moments like this. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see him have a big game out there against a great defense. He’s certainly capable of it.”
The Packers are in San Fransisco this weekend, prepping to take on the 49ers.
The last time the two met, the Green and Gold fell 37-8.
So what’s changed since then?
“I think the Packers are a little better defensively than they were that night, that’s for sure,” says Larrivee. “They haven’t lost since then and the defense has been a big reason why.”
So what kind of game can we expect to see on Sunday?
“I think the 49ers will try to run the football, that’s the number one thing. They run the ball about 49% of the time. For the Packers, I think you’ll see a pretty good blend. Because you can’t do just one thing against this San Francisco team.”
