A trip to the Super Bowl is on the line as the Packers head to San Francisco to take on the 49ers in the NFC Championship game.
“I think our guys are locked in, they’re ready to go,” says head coach Matt LaFleur. “We all know what’s at stake. It’s an incredible opportunity for our football team.”
LaFleur says at this point, it’s all about the little details.
“I think the details are what separates the good teams from the great teams. We know that we have such a huge task in front of us. This is a really good football team, and we need to make sure that everybody is at their best. And the only way we’re going to be able to do that is if they’re on the details.”
You may recall that the last time the Packers and 49ers met, the Green and Gold fell 37-8. LaFleur says they are using that game as a learning experience.
“We know they’re a great opponent. I think we’ve done some pretty darn good things as well. It should be a great football game.”
