The injury-prone Green Bay Packers receiving corps had three absences from practice on Wednesday as the team gets ready for its fourth NFC Championship Game this decade at San Francisco (coverage Sunday at 11 a.m. on WTMJ and worldwide on desktop and laptop).
However, only one absence came from medical issues.
Wide receiver Geronimo Allison missed practice due to illness. Tight end Jimmy Graham (veteran rest) was held out as well, along with wide receiver Ryan Grant due to a personal matter.
However, hopeful news came for wide receiver Allen Lazard, as he had limited participation with an injured ankle.
Grant’s absence is not perceived as consequential, as he has mainly been on inactive lists for games this season.
Tackle Bryan Bulaga was also able to practice on a limited level after being out of Sunday’s NFC Divisional Playoff against Seattle.
