When the Packers and 49ers met in the regular season, the Green and Gold fell 37-8.
“I think they’re pretty consistent with where they were in November,” Steve Bitker of KCBS in San Francisco tells WTMJ. “They’ve suffered a ton on injuries in the months of November and December, but now they’re healthy again.”
But Bitker says he’s not saying that’s an automatic win for the Packers opponent.
“No matter what the spread is, no matter how much you might feel intellectually that one team is superior to the other, or one team has the advantages going in, you know anything can happen.”
Fans in the San Francisco area are exciting for Sunday’s match-up.
“Everybody in the Bay area is totally jacked about this.”
“Well we hope we can disappoint you,” joked WTMJ’s Gene Mueller.
