It’s the final game of the regular season for the Green Bay Packers as they head to Detroit to take on the Lions.
“This is another big game,” says head coach Matt LaFleur.
He adds that the team can’t dwell on the win over the Vikings earlier this week.
“It’s gonna be a good challenge on the road, on a short week, in Detroit against a team that really doesn’t have a lot to lose. We’re probably going to see a lot of different things from them.”
The Lions are 3-11-1. But LaFleur says the record doesn’t matter.
“We know it’s going to be a challenge. You can never take any game for granted in this league.”
There’s a lot on the line this weekend, including an opportunity for the Packers to sweep the division.
“That’s a pretty cool deal,” says LaFleur. “It doesn’t happen very often in this league. More importantly, it would put us in a position where we could be 13-3 and host some games in our home stadium, which is something we would definitely like to do and position us for a one of a two seed.”
