After a big week of Packers free agency on defense, a cornerback who spent part of 2018 with Green Bay is heading to Kansas City.
Rob Demovsky of ESPN says the Chiefs will sign cornerback Bashaud Breeland.
In seven games with Green Bay, five as a starter, Breeland intercepted two passes, running one back for a touchdown.
He also recovered a fumble and had 20 combined tackles.
Previous to that. Breeland started 58 games over four seasons in Washington. He came to Green Bay in the Ha Ha Clinton-Dix trade.
Green Bay signed three projected defensive starters last week with the deals for safety Adrian Amos and pass rushers Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith.
