The Green Bay Packers have hired a new wide receivers coach who has developed All-Americans in his seven years doing the same job at Colorado State.
The team hired Alvis Whitted, who also played nine years at the position in the NFL, to be the new receivers coach.
Whitted helped develop first-team All-American Rashard Higgins in 2014 and second-team All-American Preston Williams in 2018. He has also coached at UCLA, Appalachian State and Division III Millsaps College.
He also played with the Jacksonville Jaguars (1998-2001) and the Oakland Raiders (2002-06).
