The Packers aim to improve their special teams by re-signing their long-time long snapper.
The Packers are bringing back Brett Goode, who has served in that role for the grand majority of the last 10 years. They have also released Derek Hart, who played the position in recent weeks.
The Packers and Goode agreed on a four-week injury settlement after Goode hurt his hamstring against Cincinnati in September. They could re-sign him after that four-week period.
The kicking game has had numerous issues since Goode’s injury-related departure.
