Like so many other things this year, the 2020 Wisconsin State Fair was forced to be canceled because of coronavirus.
But we all need some sense of normalcy right now, and that’s where the ‘State Fair Necessities’ come in.
“Hopefully we bring the joy and happiness to everyone as best we can without having the Fair,” CEO Kathleen O’Leary tells WTMJ.
There are nearly a dozen elements to the State Fair Necessities. They include the Fair Food Drive-Thru, Curbside Cream Puffs, Traveling Cream Puffs, Official FairWear Merchandise, the Wells Fargo Donation Drive benefiting Hunger Task Force, Sporkies: Fairgoer Edition, Wisconsin Products Pavilion Box, Fairtastic Poster and Postcard Contest, One Stop Fair Shop, and Agricultural Education.
‘State Fair Necessities’ run throughout the run of the traditional Fair- August 6 to 16.
