MILWAUKEE — WTMJ is celebrating 620 Day (June 20th a.k.a 6/20) by unveiling new logos for each of its programs: Wisconsin’s Morning News, The Steve Scaffidi Show, The Jeff Wagner Show and Wisconsin’s Afternoon News.
Each of the shows’ hosts sat down to reflect on their time at WTMJ, the way their roles have evolved, their involvement in the logo design process and their hopes for the future of the station.
“I’m not one-sided. I have guests from both sides of the political aisle, I have callers from both sides,” Scaffidi explained. “I like that, because it makes me smarter and I think it makes the show smarter.”
For Jeff Wagner, it has grown on a much more personal level. He recalls the callers who reach out and remember anecdotes about his family and loved ones. Even in the face of personal tragedy, WTMJ listeners provided support for Wagner.
