MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Strattec Security Corp. (STRT) on Thursday reported fiscal first-quarter profit of $8 million.
The Milwaukee-based company said it had profit of $2.11 per share. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, came to $1.93 per share.
The maker of automotive locks and keys posted revenue of $126.2 million in the period.
Strattec Security shares have climbed nearly 5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $23.25, a rise of 19% in the last 12 months.
